1. Why is Christchurch called “Christchurch”?

We wanted a name that didn’t focus on one particular emphasis of doctrine. As important as many areas of truth are to us, we decided that it was helpful to have a name that centered around the same thing as our lives: Jesus Himself. Christchurch is a simple, straightforward name that is readily understood by both Christians and unbelievers alike.
