8. What if I disagree with Christchurch’s position on...?

It would depend on what’s written in the gap! There are many areas of doctrine and practice that we would consider ‘non essentials’ where there is plenty of freedom for an individuals personal convictions; although we would ask that any convictions that would differ from those of the pastoral team be held to privately and not espoused publicly. However, there are some essentials that are an absolute for anyone who would be a member…these primarily are centered around the person and finished work of Christ; we won’t shift an inch on the gospel!
