What is Fuse?
FUSE is our fun and laid back community youth club for young people aged between 11 and 16 (school years 7-11), that welcomes young people from all backgrounds, cultures and religions.

On the first Friday of every month we go by minibus to VJ. Then, a couple of weeks later we all meet up at the Christchurch Centre on a Saturday morning (10:30AM-12:30pm) to hang out in our own coffee bar… complete with many different activities and games. In addition to that we also seek to head out once a term on some sort of adventure, things like ‘Alton Towers’ and ‘Outdoor Pursuits Weekends’. Click here for plans for this term.

Getting to us is generally no problem as we do provide a free minibus from key points in Newport, click here for bus times, though you are free to come by car if you prefer.

The entrance fee for FUSE is £2 per child or £5 for a family ticket (3 or more brothers or sisters). There is no charge for the bus.

What about youth safety?
We have gone to great lengths to ensure that young people will be safe. All our workers have been CRB checked and trained in the best practice guidelines set out in our Child Protection Policy. We also have workers trained in first aid and child protection present. Please contact us for further clarification if you have any queries.

How do I get involved?
SIMPLE – Get your parent or guardian to fill in the following Registration and Consent forms, and bring it with you the first time you come along. Please note, you will need this filled in and signed before you can get into Fuse for the first time. Download the FUSE registration and consent form here.
