A six-part series on Church History

This series aims to give folks a broad understanding of the development of the Christian Church by looking into the lives of some of the key leaders and reformers down through the centuries.

We will not only look at the personalities but also the part they played in advancing the Gospel and the lasting impact their lives have for us today. We will focus on men like Augustine and Luther, Calvin and Bunyan, and delve into the Puritans and the men behind the Great Awakenings of the 18th and 19th century such as Edwards and Spurgeon.

Our desire is not to present a history lesson, but rather to ponder the impact that the truth of the Gospel had on these men individually as well as understand how they directly influence our lives today.

This course will not involve any home assignments but we hope it will whet your appetites to grow in your knowledge and love of the Saviour and the glorious Gospel.
