Ever considered Sunday school for your kids but then remembered how boring church can be? Well, we invite you to check out our “Generations” Kids classes and discover why over 100 kids get excited about coming to church every week. Here at Christchurch, we believe learning about God should be engaging and fun and have designed a kids program to include all the things kids love - games, crafts, drama and teaching in an interactive environment. We have 4 classes available encompassing 3 year olds through 11 year olds, all staffed by people who love children. Adventurers: Nursery - Reception Builders: Years 1-2 Conquerors: Years 3-4 Discoverers: Years 5-6 Adventurers and Builders start from 10:45am while Conquerors and Discoverers start after the singing has finished in the main hall. If you wish to stay yourself and have children younger than three we also offer two crèches which you are welcome to use. Peace of Mind Christchurch takes seriously our responsibility for the safeguard and welfare of every child entrusted to our care. We have adopted a number of policies including a Child Protection Policy, Registration and Dismissal Policy, Toilet Policy, Security Policy & Procedure, and a Discipline Policy. A copy of these is available upon request and we will be happy to discuss any aspect of these with you should you have any concerns. All our Generations workers over the age of 18 have been CRB checked and instructed in these policies. What do I have to do? All we ask is that you be willing to drop off and pick up your children at the appropriate times, as well as attend Christchurch yourself once a month. Drop off times are between 10:45am and 11am. Pick up times are between 12:30pm and 12:40pm. There is no transport provided for our Generations classes so we would ask that all children be brought to the building by a parent or guardian.
